Directions From North and South
From Springfield Take 65 South to Branson, MO exit 248. Turn left at light. Go to
the round about to The Landing. Enter @ BELK Parking lot.
From Arkansas Take 65 North to Branson. Take 76 Country Blvd Exit. Turn right
at the light. Go straight through Old Down Town Branson to The Landing. Turn
left at the light towards BELK Parking lot.
Course Description
Keyhole course for all events. Level course for walkers 1mile on boardwalk and
5k (1 loop) & 10k (2 loop). Cool breeze provided by Taneycomo Lake front.
Level finish. Course will be USATF certified.
Finish Line
Managed by Ridge Runners Sports.
Registration
Pre-registration $15 postmarked by July.1st.Shirt orders will on first 100 Runners.
Day of race $20.00 (6:30am-7:15am at The Landing)
Pre-registered runners receive shirts on race day. Race day registrants receive
shirts as supply lasts.

Overall winners (male & female) 10K . 1st Place - $75, 2nd Place - $50, 3rd

Awards to first place Masters (40+)male & female.
Medal awards three deep in the following age divisions . male & female:
14-under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-69;

Team Competition: Schools, businesses, churches, club organizations, etc.,
with most participants, Award for top team only ( cross country scoring will be
used).Teams must be named before race!
Post Race Celebration
Refreshments. Awards. Drawing for GREAT DOOR PRIZES. Gift certs, show
tickets ect.

By signing below, you agree, warrant and covenant as follows:
WAIVER
I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity.
I should not enter and run unless I am
medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to
safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with participating in the Branson Fire Cracker 5000
Mile Walk/Run on July 4, 2009, including, but not limited to, falls, contacts with other participants, the effects
of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and conditions of the road, all such risks being
known and appreciated by me. I realize that this is a strenuous event, which requires proper physical
conditioning. I hereby certify that I am in such physical condition and good health. Having read this release
and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone
entitled to act in my behalf or on behalf of my estate, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns waive
and release the City of Branson, Mo, any employee or volunteer of the City of Branson, 1800Branson, any
employee or volunteer of the ISJF and all sponsors of the race, any other persons assisting with the race,
the officers, Board, Board members, agents, servants, employees, promoters, managers, directors, officials,
agents, and their successors and assigns of each and every of the above from any and all claims of injury or
liabilities of any kind including illness or damages suffered by me, arising out of my participation in or
traveling to or from this race event even though the liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on
the part of the persons referred to in this waiver. I also grant permission for the use of any photographs,
motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of my participation in this event for any legitimate purpose. I
understand that if the race is canceled because of circumstances beyond the control of the race committee
and sponsors, including, but not limited to, unsafe weather conditions or governmental ban, my entry fee will
not be refunded. I agree to the above waiver,
